Members of the book club got a special treat when the author of Poissa, Meritta Koivisto, paid a visit to their meeting. Some of them also attended her Creative Writing lecture held at Columbia University on October 13. FCF members who are conversant in Finnish enough to read contemporary literature, are welcome to join the book club to keep up their Finnish skills.
