If you are thinking about travelling between Finland and the US this summer, and would like to offer your dwelling in exchange for something similar, please look at the ad posted on the member pages and write up what you are looking for and what you offer. Then send it to us at info@finlandcenter.org and we will post it. Be sure to include contact information so that the communications can happen directly between members. When you see something you like contact the people directly.

Finland Center is not responsible for what happens between the interested parties, cancellations, or the host family's failure to live up to your cleanliness standards...:). But by the time you go, these people will be very familiar to you, after all the emails have gone back and forth. Maybe you just found yourselves new friends! There are many organizations already doing this kind of exchange, and it is quite successful in the vast majority of cases. Of course, you can also rent your place if you wish. New Yorkers in particular, please note your apartments are in demand.

Remember to send us a quick note if you reach an agreement and/or no longer wish the ad listed. And please note, you do need to sign up via the website and pay the membership fee first. By doing that, both parties will know that these are real people with real addresses and a commitment. Thank you and good luck!
